Met Quantum Loss calculates all sensible, latent and total thermal gains over the entire cooling season using dry bulb or resultant temperature methods. Includes direct and diffuse solar radiation, ground reflectance, height allowance, wind chill factor, wall and roof glazing, occupancy, infiltration, CIBSE or your own ventilation loads. Handles single and multiple room applications up to 99 rooms which can be grouped in zones and/or floors. Quantum Gain and loss are also availbale for Windows 95.

  • automatically calculates outside summer and winter design temperatures, weather and solar data for many countries
  • analyses loads by individual rooms, floors, zones or the entire building
  • precision heat loss claculation for commercial offices, factory and manufacturing units
  • incorporates alternative calculation methods according to heating system type
  • includes error traps; for example, warnings are also given such as glazing area Part L of building Regulations.
  • ideal for precision plant selection of comfort or close control air conditioning plant for single split systems, multi split systems, etc.

Quantum Line is the latest version of our refrigeration pipe systems calculation program. After many years of succes CAPSS has been rewritten. As far as we have seen it, it looks very good. The screen layouts have the "Quantum look",the structure as we already have seen in Quantum Gain and Loss. Together with Flamingo Trans(Product / Coldroom calculation) calculations for complete refrigerating systems are possible.

Besides the new look, Quantum Line offers following possibilities:

  • very rapid output of thermodynamic properties of up to 12 refrigerants across any temperature range. R11 /R12 /R13 /R13B1 /(R14) /R22 /R23 /R113 /R114 /R134A /R123 /R124 /R502 and R717
  • allows direct comparison of two refrigerants displaying every thermo-dynamic property across any temperature range
  • conducts velocity and pressure drop calculations for: Suction lines/ Discharge Lines/ Liquid lines /Condensor to Receiver Lines
  • sizes liquid vessels for any refrigerant to any percentage filling
  • allows design of simple condensing unit, compressor/receiver set, multiplex / parallel supermarket systems and multisplit airconditioning systems.
  • reads data from single or multiple room projects created within Quantum Gain
